How do I say "Sorry if I take a while to reply, I have to make sure my French is correct." I am talking to a person online and I often take a few moments longer to reply because I have to use all sorts of translators. I already told them I have not even taken a beginner's class yet (I will in a few months) but they insist on carrying on full conversations daily so I have to go to various sites to throw words together for a reply, in addition to translate what they're saying.. in addition to French is not the easiest language in the world. They don't use the most correct French either. For example they greet me with "cava" instead of "Ça va?" That is confusing at times because even tanslators can not pick up. Anyway I want to say something like what I typed above. I do not want them to know I am using translators (please do not include it in your reply) because I do not want them to start using one either. Also is there a site that can give me REAL TIME results like a chatroom or something for french?
